Where is Mauritania located?
Mauritania lies in the western region of the continent of Africa, on the Atlantic coast of Africa. Mauritania forms both culturally and geographically a bridge between the North African Maghrib (a region that also includes Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia) and the westernmost portion of sub-Saharan Africa.
